Bantry Blue | Photograph By Artist, Dale Goffigon 40" X 34"
In the end, art has the ability to change any home. We like bringing the work of our global artist community into people's homes. The stories told through various artistic expressions we curate helps create a more beauitful and authentic world. Bantry House and Garden is an 18th century estate situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, Co. Cork, Ireland. Built for the White family who still inhabit and maintain the estate today, the home has been open for tours since 1946.
Dale is drawn to document architecture, interiors and gardens that represent a wide span of centuries. She looks to represent both the classical motifs and the beauty that is found in distressed and decaying structures. The formality of much of the work is guided by the desire for a sense of order and the isolated fragments are abstractions that offer up an element of surprise.
Print: Dale works with a master printer producing archival pigment prints on Canson Photographique papers that are akin to ""old school"" photographic papers. This craftsmanship contributes to the powerful effect each scene brings to a space. Feels as though you can step into the scene itself and transport to the moment captured by the eye of artist.
